Arise Lifts is a lift company based in Andover, Hampshire, working across the UK and beyond. Its engineers install, maintain, repair, refurbish and modernise commercial and residential lifts, from stair lifts and platform lifts to passenger, goods and service lifts and dumbwaiters. Its customers range from private homes to hotels, gyms, restaurants, bars, offices and retail spaces.
When Arise came to us it was a new business, entering an industry where most competitors have been trading for years.
Lifts are a trust purchase. Whether it’s a homeowner fitting a stair lift or a hotel replacing a passenger lift, the customer is choosing who to rely on for safety, compliance and long-term maintenance. Most will check a company’s website before they ever pick up the phone.
A new company has no track record to point to, so the website has to do that work instead. It has to look as credible as firms with decades behind them, from the first visit.
Arise also had a lot to explain. Seven types of lift and five kinds of service, for customers as different as a private home and a commercial building, is a lot to make clear to someone who just wants to know whether Arise can help. And as a new business, there was no existing content to build from: every word had to be written from scratch.
Every page written for Arise's customers, explaining what they do in plain language for homeowners and commercial clients alike.
Lift types and services organised so every visitor can quickly find their lift and what Arise can do for it.
A clean design with a strong colour palette that gives a new company the presence of an established one.
A bespoke site that works on every device, for customers researching on a phone as much as at a desk.
Arise Lifts launched with a website that makes a professional first impression and explains the business clearly to every kind of customer. Instead of looking like a startup, it presents as a credible lift company from the first visit, with the words, structure and design all built together.
